At Doomben in Queensland Glenlogan Park's 4-time Gr1-winning stallion Show A Heart (Brave Warrior-Miss Sandman, by Regal Advice) added a stakes success when 7YO gelding Glendara (Show A Heart-Art Gallery, by Marju) scored by 0.8-length for trainer Barry Baldwin in the AUD$100,000 Quality Sky Tattersall's Members' Cup (1640m) for Open runners, defeating 5YO mare Capetown Hussey & 6YO gelding Brazen Moss. Winless since November 2016, Glendara was well backed to break his run of outs and record his maiden black-type success. A $16,000 pass-in at the 2012 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale, consistent money-spinner Glendara took his record to 7 wins & 12 placings from 41 starts for $292,500.
Tony Gollan is confident he has two leading chances in the Listed Sunshine Coast Cup (1400m) tomorrow. The champion Queensland trainer, who this season will be shooting for his fifth straight trainers' premiership, will saddle up Most Important (I Am Invincible) and Brazen Moss (Mossman) in the $100,000 feature. Most Important is the stable's number one hope after his pleasing last-start fourth behind the exciting Care To Think in the Magic Millions Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast. "Most Important's run in the Magic Millions Cup was quite pleasing and it was a better run than in last year's Cup," Gollan told Racing Queensland Webnews. "He got caught out of his ground but he's in good form although he's probably paying for it with the weight now." Gollan added: "He's won at the Sunshine Coast which is a plus so you might see him back there in the winter for the Glasshouse Handicap." Gollan also rates Brazen Moss a strong chance after being beaten four lengths by Someday in the Listed Bernborough Handicap (1600m) at Doomben. "He's going well but he's not a lover of Doomben," he said. "He'll relish the bigger track at Caloundra and the good gate."
