Almost Court, a son of dual Gr1 winning Kiwi mare Cinder Bella and a $36,000 purchase at the 2014 NZ Bloodstock Select Yearling Sale from the draft of Curraghmore Stud, improved his record to 7 wins and 3 placings from 15 starts for $237,624 in earnings.


Slow Pace Wins Listed Wyong Gold Cup

At Wyong on the NSW Central Coast, 9YO US-bred gelding Slow Pace (Distorted Humor-Slow Down, by Seattle Slew) posted his first stakes success since arriving in Australia when scoring by 0.5-length for trainer Kris Lees in the $160,000 Listed Wyong Gold Cup (2100m) for 3YO+, over 5YO NZ-bred gelding Sacred Master (Mastercraftsman-Trickle, by Storm Creek) & 7YO gelding Get On The Grange (Home on the Grange-Lea Tonde, by Filante). The Australian Bloodstock-owned Slow Pace improved his record to 5 wins (including the Gr3 La Coupe) and 8 placings (including the Gr3 ATC Japan Racing Association Plate) from 39 starts for $545,352 earnings.
