So Si Bon Confirmed For Classic

Trainer Robbie Laing has confirmed that talented 3YO So Si Bon (So You Think-Black Minx, by Lonhro) will take on the older horses in Saturday's Gr2 Zipping Classic (2400m) at Sandown. So Si Bon, who is coming off a fourth placing in the Gr1 Victoria Derby, will be the only 3YO to contest the $300,000 staying feature which has attracted a quality field of eight, headed by Melbourne Cup runners Who Shot Thebarman, Big Orange, Almoonqith, and Godolphin stable-mates Secret Number and Beautiful Romance. Craig Williams has been booked to ride So Si Bon who will carry just 50.5kg under the weight-for-age scale. The Zipping Classic field is:
