Cherry Mix To Arc Before Melb

Meanwhile Godolphin confirmed its Melbourne Cup entrant Cherry Mix "will enter France's Gr1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp in Paris next Sunday (October 2)" reported thoroughbrednews.co.nz. Cherry Mix (2nd in the Arc last year) has been allocated 58.5kg for the Gr1 Melbourne Cup. The 4YO "had his 1st start since March earlier this month, when a promising 5th to Warrsan in Germany's Gr1 Grosser Volkswagen Preis von Baden".
