Purge To Stud At Vinery Kentucky
Monday, 26th September 2005
Dual US Gr2-winning 4YO stallion Purge (Pulpit-Copelan's Bid Gal, by Copelan) "will enter stud in 2006 at Vinery Kentucky," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Purge won last year's Gr2 Peter Pan Stakes & Gr2 Jim Dandy Stakes for top US trainer Todd Pletcher, who commented: "Purge's performances in the Jim Dandy & Peter Pan are as good as those of any 3YO I've ever trained. He is well balanced, good looking & a very athletic individual." Kentucky-bred Purge (who will continue to race in 2005) has won 5 of 13 starts & earned US$645,434 to date.
