Red Dazzler Wins Stutt Stakes

Vinery shuttler Red Ransom (Roberto-Arabia, by Damascus) added a black-type success when his colt Red Dazzler (Red Ransom-Vain Hill, by Danehill) won the $175,000 Gr2 Stutt Stakes (1600m) for 3YOs at Moonee Valley in Melbourne. Red Dazzler (ridden by Danny Nikolic for trainer Mick Price) defeated fellow colts Stratum (Redoute's Choice-Bourgeois, by Luskin Star) & Maybe Better (Intergaze-Amarula, by Rubiton). Red Dazzler (a $100,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Easter Sale) now has 3 wins (also including the Listed Vain Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield on August 20) from 4 starts for $243,750 prize-money. His sire Red Ransom has 65 stakes-winners world-wide & stands the northern seasons at England's Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket.
