Godolphin Racing's South African-bred 6YO gelding Grand Emporium (winner of last year's US $1 million Gr2 Godolphin Mile at Dubai's Nad al Sheba track) was named 2004-05 Horse-Of-The-Year at the annual Emirates Racing Association Nashwan Awards ceremony, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Grand Emporium (by National Assembly) also won the Gr3 Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum Challenge Round 1; over the season he won 2 of 7 starts & earned US$784,957.
