Scenic Adds Singapore Gr2

In Singapore, ill-fated former Durham Lodge stallion Scenic (Sadler's Wells-Idyllic, by Foolish Pleasure) added a group success when his son Always Fast (Scenic-Speech Of Praise, by Cheraw) scored by 1-length in the Gr2 E.W.Barker Memorial Trophy (1400m) at Kranji. Always Fast (ridden by S.John for expatriate Australian trainer Don Baertschiger) defeated fellow Australian-bred Fresh Boy-Lim's Passion (Perugino-Sibelienne, by Nishapour) & Connery-Almondo (Al Akbar-Truly Lucky, by Truly Vain). Always Fast was a $42,000 yearling at the 2002 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
