US Gr2 winner Proud Citizen (Gone West-Drums Of Freedom, by Green Forest) "will shuttle to Chile to stand the coming Southern Hemisphere season at Liliana Solari's Haras Don Alberto," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. The 7YO (whose 1st foals are yearlings in 2006) is currently standing his 3rd season at Airdrie Stud in Kentucky for US$17,500. On the track, Proud Citizen won 3 of 16 starts (including the 2002 Gr2 Coolmore Lexington Stakes, plus placings in both the Gr1 Kentucky Derby & Gr1 Preakness Stakes). Haras Don Alberto also stands Stuka, Ithaki, Special Quest & 1st-year sire Total Impact.
