Flying Dansino Romps Home On Way To MM Sale

Thursday, 8th June 2006

Meanwhile regally-bred 3YO filly Flying Dansino (Flying Pegasus-Dansino, by Danehill) yesterday led all-the-way for a 3.25-lengths victory over 1100m at Canterbury Park in Sydney, prior to being offered as a broodmare prospect during next week's Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. Bred by Gerry Harvey's Baramul Stud, Flying Dansino (consigned to Magic Millions as part of the Oakridge Trading Dispersal) originally finished runner-up on debut in the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) at Randwick in October 2004. And her stakes-winning dam Dansino (herself out of multiple group-winning Best Western mare Leica Western) won 4 of her 10 starts (including the Listed Talindert Handicap on debut) & is a half-sister to At Talaq mare Leica Smile (winner of the G1 Australasian Oaks).
