Bridgland General Manager At Vet Biotechnology

In South Australia, animal healthcare & stem cell research company Vet Biotechnology has appointed racing identity David Bridgland as general manager "for a contracted period of 6 months". Bridgland's experience within the thoroughbred racing & breeding industries includes stints as racing secretary for the Hayes family's Lindsay Park business, manager of the South Australian Breeders Incentive Scheme & operating his own bloodstock agency. Vet Biotechnology "focuses on delivering biotechnology solutions for major unmet animal health needs in the international equine market" including "stem cell therapy for tendon & ligament injuries of performance horses, a breath test diagnostics for the management of equine gastric ulcers & development of a vaccine & diagnostic for the management of rattles (a serious pneumonia & potentially fatal disease in foals)". Bridgland will be based at the company's head office in Adelaide.
