The 1st reported foal by 2005 US champion turf male & now 7YO sire Leroidesanimaux (Candy Stripes-Dissemble, by Ahonoora) was born at Northcliff Farm in Virginia: a filly out of winning Bluebird mare Fiddle Me Blue, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Leroidesanimaux (who will will stand the 2007 season for US$25,000) won Canada's 2005 Gr1 Atto Mile Stakes (his 8th consecutive victory in a streak which also included the 2004 US Gr1 Citation Handicap at Hollywood Park, 2005 Gr1 Frank Kilroe Mile Handicap at Santa Anita & 2005 Gr2 Fourstardave Handicap at Saratoga) & then finished 2nd in the 2005 US Gr1 Breeders' Cup Mile; overall he notched 9 wins from 13 starts for US$1,658,377 earnings.
