The 2-day Inglis Autumn Yearling Sale concluded yesterday at Oaklands in Melbourne with records posted for both gross revenue (307 lots sold for $3,221,350) & average ($10,493) while the $7,000 median was up 15% on last year. Inglis director Peter Heagney summed up: "Autumn is where the buyers come to acquire a genuine racing prospect that is affordable. Vendors who offered well-grown, well-prepared yearlings were suitably rewarded."
