US Breeders' Cup Entry For BMW & Doncaster Winners
Tuesday, 1st May 2007
Two of Sydney racings "most prestigious Gr1 events, The BMW (2400m at Rosehill Gardens) & Doncaster Handicap (1600m at Royal Randwick), will provide automatic entry for the winners into the rich US Breeders' Cup meeting next year," reported The Daily Telegraph. Sydney Turf Club (BMW) & Australian Jockey Club (Doncaster) officials "have forged a landmark agreement with organisers of the US series" & STC chairman Alan Brown noted: "The agreement also provides for the US Breeders' Cup Turf winner to be given automatic entry for The BMW".
