Also in Italy overnight, dual-Derby winning Coolmore sire & former NZ Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu (Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) added a black-type success when 3YO son Sopran Promo (Montjeu-Middle Prospect, by Mr Prospector) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the €61,000 (A$98,000) Listed Premio Emanuele Filiberto (2000m) for 3YO colts & geldings at San Siro. Sopran Promo (ridden by Dario Vargui for trainer G.Galoppo) defeated Zolango (Acatenango-Zorina, by Shirley Heights) & Awelmarduk (Almutawakel-Claba Di San Jore, by Barathea).
