Former Grand Lodge Thoroughbreds shuttler Distorted Humor (Forty Niner-Danzig's Beauty, by Danzig) added a US Gr1 triumph when 4YO daughter Hystericalady (Distorted Humor-Sacramentada, by Northair) "streaked clear to a 4-lengths win" in the US$340,000 Gr1 Humana Distaff (7 furlongs) for mares 4YO & up at Churchill Downs, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Hystericalady (ridden by Rafael Bejarano for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer) defeated last year's winner & this year's favoured 5YO mare Pussycat Doll (Real Quiet-Hookedonthefeelin, by Citidancer) & Carriage Trail (Giant's Causeway-Manoa, by Seeking The Gold). Kentucky-bred Hystericalady (a US$125,000 yearling at the 2004 Keeneland September sale whose dam Sacramentada was champion Chilean older mare) now has 6 wins (also including 2006's Gr2 Hollywood Breeders' Cup Oaks over 8.5 furlongs at Hollywood Park & the 2005 Juan Gonzalez Memorial Stakes at Pleasanton) from 10 starts for US$403,283 earnings.
