Tuesday, 8th May 2007

In Western Australia, Fairfields Stud in North Dandalup has been sold to Touchstone Farm, owned by Brad Hampton, Sam Warne-Smith & David Bishop. Hampton commented: "Our aim is to establish a world's best practice facility & to build upon the tradition forged by Fairfields Stud. With the quality of stallion we intend to stand at Touchstone, such as Flying Pegasus, we truly are looking to develop a centre-of-excellence to support the breeding industry in WA. With the thoroughbred industry enjoying one of its most prosperous periods, the time is right to develop a facility that can offer a top class service to meet the growing demand. We hope to announce our stallion roster & services available within the next few weeks."
