Invincible Spirit Adds French Gr3

In France overnight, last year's European 1st Season sire sensation & 2006 Chatswood Stud shuttler Invincible Spirit (Green Desert-Rafha, by Kris) added a group success when son Lawman (Invincible Spirit-Laramie, by Gulch) led all-the-way for a 2.5-lengths victory in the €80,000 (A$128,000) Gr3 Prix De Guiche (1800m) for 3YO colts at Chantilly. Lawman (ridden bu Olivier Peslier for trainer Jean-Marie Beguigne) defeated Holocene (Lemon Drop Kid-Witching Hour, by Fairy King) & Chinese Whisper (Montjeu-Majinskaya, by Marignan). Lawman (who won over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on debut last November) was a €75,000 (A$120,000) yearling at the 2005 Deauville August Sale & is a half-brother to Gr1 Prix de Diane winner Latice.
