1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Authenticate

US unraced 8YO freshman sire Authenticate (Gone West-Lakeway, by Seattle Slew) recorded his 1st winner when K J's Beaux (Authenticate-K J's Moment, by Gilded Time) scored by 3.25-lengths over 5.5 furlongs at Lone Star Park in Texas, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Authenticate (whose dam Lakeway was a multiple Gr1-winner) stands at La Mesa Stallions in Louisiana & has 50 2YOs in his 1st crop. He was a US$3.3 million yearling purchase by Padua Stables at the 2000 Keeneland July sale & is from the immediate family of Gr1-winner & sire Saratoga Six.
