1st Aust Winner For Jungle Pocket

NZ Rich Hill Stud shuttler & former Japanese Horse-Of-The-Year Jungle Pocket (Tony Bin-Dance Charmer, by Nureyev) recorded his 1st Australian winner when 2YO filly Classic Pocket (Jungle Pocket-Forfar, by Wallenda) scored over 1400m at Royal Randwick in Sydney for trainer David Payne. Classic Pocket (who ran 4th on debut at Rosehill on May 5) was a NZ$125,000 yearling (consigned by Rich Hill Stud on behalf of breeder Dame Sian Elias) at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Karaka Premier Sale; her dam Forfar won the 2001 NZ St Leger.
