Top-weighted favourite After Market (ridden by Alex Solis for trainer John Shirreffs) defeated Brazilian-bred Gr2-winning 4YO entire Out Of Control (Vettori-Heavenly Dancer, by Fitzcarraldo) & front-running 5YO Rob Roy (Lear Fan-Camanoe, by Gone West). At his previous start After Market won the Gr1 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap (10 furlongs on turf) at Hollywood Park on June 9 & overall now has 7 wins (also including the Gr3 Inglewood Handicap at Hollywood Park on April 28 & 2006's Gr2 National Museum Of Racing Hall-Of-Fame Breeders' Cup Stakes at Saratoga & Gr3 Lexington Stakes at Belmont Park) from 11 starts for US$703,685 earnings.
