In the UK "it is business as usual at the head of the table of leading European 2nd Season sires, with last year's freshman 1-2 Invincible Spirit & Rock Of Gibraltar once again the runaway leaders," reported racingpost.co.uk. Last year's European 1st Season sire sensation & 2006 Chatswood Stud shuttler Invincible Spirit (Green Desert-Rafha, by Kris) has notched 25 winners this season from 90 runners, for a £191,228 (A$460,000) lead over Coolmore shuttler Rock Of Gibraltar (Danehill-Offshore Boom, by Be My Guest) who has 27 winners from 91 runners.
