Real Quiet Adds US Black-Type
Former Vinery Stud shuttler & 1998 Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner Real Quiet (Quiet American-Really Blue, by Believe It) added a US black-type success when Shuffling Maddnes (Real Quiet-Splashing Fancy, by Bucksplasher) scored a 3.25-lengths victory in the US$107,000 Listed Evan Shipman Handicap (8.5 furlongs) at Belmont Park in New York. Shuffling Maddnes (ridden by Cornelio Velasquez for trainer D.Carroll) defeated Accountforthegold (Successful Appeal-Accountess, by Private Account) & Organizer (Raffie's Majesty-Treasure Always, by Summer Squall). Earlier this season Shuffling Maddnes also won February's Listed Champagneforashley Stakes (8 furlongs) at Aqueduct.
