Lee Freedman & Corey Brown Split
Monday, 3rd March 2008
Top Victorian trainer Lee Freedman announced he has suddenly ended his use of former Sydney jockey Corey Brown as a stable rider, after 14 months & almost 100 winners. Brown told the Melbourne Herald-Sun: "I never saw it coming at all. Today he called me over (after the last race at Caulfield) & said that was it. I didn't see that there was any blue. I was shocked. I can't work it out. There are no rides he'd been unhappy with that I can think of."
