Gr1-Winning Sire Align Seeking New Home

Wednesday, 12th March 2008

As a result of Highview Stud's change of direction, Gr1-winning Australian-bred stallion Align (Night Shift-Super Trend, by Red Anchor) is looking for a new home. Just last weekend Align notched his latest juvenile Gr1 triumph when star 2YO colt Fully Fledged (Align-Fledged, by Bluebird) won New Zealand's Gr1 Ford Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Ellerslie. Last season Align produced unbeaten champion NZ 2YO Nightlign (Align-Indian Squaw, by Carolingian) whose victories included the Gr1 Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes, as well as Gr2 NZ Cup winner Everswindell (Align-Hilarion Lady, by St Hilarion) who was also runner-up in the Gr1 NZ 1000 Guineas & Gr3 Desert Gold Stakes winner Out Of Align (Align-Limerick Lea, by McGinty). Align himself won 4 of 18 starts in Australia (including the Gr1 AJC Sires' Produce Stakes & Gr2 Todman Slipper Trial).
