Monday Odd Spot: In the US, 41-year-old John Placzankis of Rancho Cucamonga "threw a perfect ringer & won first prize of US$1 million in Santa Anita Park's annual St. Patrick's Day Horseshoe Pitch contest following the 7th race," reported bloodhorse.com.
