4-Time Gr1-Winner Peeping Fawn Retired To Stud

In Ireland, Ballydoyle trainer Aidan O'Brien confirmed 4-time Gr1-winning 4YO mare Peeping Fawn (Danehill-Maryinsky, by Sadler's Wells) has been retired & "will be covered next year," reported racingpost.co.uk. Last year Peeping Fawn (unraced as a 2YO) finished 3rd in the Gr1 English 1000 Guineas (8 furlongs) at Newmarket & then 2nd in the Gr1 English Oaks (12 furlongs) at Epsom Downs, before notching 4 successive Gr1 triumphs in Ireland's Gr1 Pretty Polly Stakes (10 furlongs) at The Curragh, the Gr1 Darley Irish Oaks (12 furlongs) at The Curragh, the Gr1 Nassau Stakes (10 furlongs) against older rivals at Goodwood & Gr1 Darley Yorkshire Oaks (12 furlongs) against older rivals at York. She finished the season winning the 2007 Cartier Award as European Champion 3YO Filly.
