Montjeu Colt Tops NZ 3YO 1601+ Free Handicap

Dual-Derby winning Coolmore sire & former Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu (Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) added another feather to his cap when Queensland-based breeder Billie Morton's Gr1 AJC Australian Derby-winning colt Nom Du Jeu (Montjeu-Prized Gem, by Prized) topped the NZ 3YO 1600m+ Free Handicap. Nom Du Jeu also won NZ's Gr3 Waikato Guineas (2000m) at Te Rapa & finished runner-up against older rivals in Australia's Gr1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick. The top-rated 3YOs for 1600m+ were:
