Cumani Using UK Ebor As Melb Cup Trial
Thursday, 7th August 2008
Purple Moon's UK trainer Luca Cumani "has put 5 horses in the Melbourne Cup, including leading Ebor hopes Bauer, Mad Rush & Sanbuch" & told racingpost.co.uk: "We will try to have a go (at Melbourne) if we think we have got something suitable nearer the time. No final decision will be made until the beginning of September, when it is time to go into quarantine & you have to be serious about what you are doing."
