15th European Winner For Exceed and Excel

In the UK, boom Darley 1st-crop sire Exceed And Excel (Danehill-Patrona, by Lomond) notched his 15th individual European winner when 2YO colt Aakey (Exceed And Excel-Bush Baby, by Zamindar) scored over 6 furlongs at Yarmouth for trainer Michael Jarvis. Aakey (raced by Sheikh Hamdan al Maktoum) was a 210,000 guineas (A$462,000) yearling at the 2007 Tattersalls October Sale. Exceed And Excel has just been crowned 2007-08 Champion 1st-Season sire in Australia.
