Florida Barns Placed Under Quarantine

In Florida, Miami's Calder Race Course "has placed 2 barns under quarantine after a horse was euthanased because of neurological issues & tests are pending on the cause of the horse's illness," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Calder quarantined barns in May 2005 & December 2006 due to cases of equine herpesvirus.
