Inglis Melb: Clearance Rate 92.5%

Monday, 18th August 2008

Overall during the Inglis Melbourne sale, 345 lots sold for $4,509,250 at an average $13,070 & a median $3,500. The clearance rate was 92.5%. Inglis director Peter Heagney summed up: "This was an exceptionally strong sale & certainly stronger than we could have anticipated. We had a brilliant response from vendors, which forced us to extend it over 2 days & that format has worked very well. This follows on from the success of the Great Southern Sale & it means vendors & buyers now have 2 great opportunities in Victoria to trade stock before the beginning of the breeding season."
