Patinack Buys Swettenham In Hunter Valley
Patinack Farm announced the acquisition of Swettenham Stud in the NSW Hunter Valley. Patinack chairman Nathan Tinkler commented: "This property enjoys a well deserved reputation for rearing champions & we are looking forward to continuing this tradition. We look forward to working with the existing team & breeding many Gr1 winners in the years to come." This purchase gives Patinack an established breeding property to run their broodmare band, which now stands at over 250. Patinack Farm Segenhoe Valley will continue to be managed as a stallion complex, remaining home to freshman sires Casino Prince & Husson along with the ever-popular Beautiful Crown.
