NZB Doubles Filly-Of-Year Series Bonus

NZ Bloodstock announced it is doubling the bonus cheques on offer for the 2008-09 NZB 3YO Filly-Of-The-Year Series (10 black-type races over distances from 1200-2400m). There will now be NZ$50,000 in bonuses to the series winner: NZ$40,000 to the winning owners & NZ$10,000 to the winning trainer. This season's races are:
- Sep 20: Gr3 Gold Trail Stakes (1200m) Hawkes Bay
- Sep 27: Listed Soliloquy Stakes (1400m) Auckland
- Nov 8: Gr1 NZ 1000 Guineas (1600m) Canterbury
- Dec 13: Gr3 Eulogy Stakes (1600m) Manawatu
- Dec 26: Gr2 Eight Carat Classic (1600m) Auckland
- Jan 1: Gr2 Royal Stakes (2000m) Auckland
- Jan 24: Gr3 Desert Gold Stakes (1600m) Wellington
- Feb 7: Gr2 Sir Tristram Fillies Classic (2000m) Waikato
- Feb 28: Gr3 Lowland Stakes (2100m) Masterton
- Mar 14: Gr1 NZ Oaks (2400m) Wellington
