Rossini Adds US Black-Type
Wednesday, 27th August 2008
Former NZ Glenmorgan Stud shuttler Rossini (Miswaki-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a US juvenile black-type success when daughter Prairie Blues (Rossini-Babai Blues, by Capote) scored a 2.75-lengths victory in the US$78,000 Listed Iowa Sorority Stakes (6 furlongs) for 2YO fillies at Prairie Meadows. Prairie Blues (ridden by Alex Birzer for trainer Anne Mitchell) defeated Gold Simone (Wild Gold-Homah J Simon, by Distinctive Pro) & Don't Tell Dad (Out Of Place-Dream The Blues, by Cure The Blues).
