2-In-a-Row For Another $2m Redoute's Son
Later on the same card at Moonee Valley yesterday, 4YO entire Allied Force (Redoute's Choice-Urge To Merge, by Last Tycoon) followed up his 7-lengths debut win earlier this month (when returning from an injury-enforced 10-months spell) with a front-running 2.25-lengths victory over 1000m for trainer David Hayes. Allied Force was a $2 million purchase by Rob McAnulty at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney from the consignment of Arrowfield Stud & is a half-brother to South African Gr1-winner Suntagonal. Darley agent John Ferguson paid $2.1 million for Alied Force's full-brother 12 months later at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale.
