Destino Wins Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic

Western Australia's Lynward Park-based stallion Bletchley Park (Caerleon-Enigma, by Ahonoora) added a group success when favoured gelding Destino (Bletchley Park-Genuine, by Is It True) scored by a half-head in the 125,000 Gr3 Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Classic (1400m) for 3YOs at Ascot. Destino (ridden by Jason Brown for Daniel Morton) defeated fellow geldings Sheenasaidgrey (Verglas-Classic Lady, by Raveneaux) & Liquidation (Giant's Causeway-Artel, by Danehill). Destino took his record to 3 wins & 2 placings (including November's Listed Placid Ark Stakes over 1200m at Ascot) from 5 starts for $127,500 earnings.
