Inglis Melb Dec: 95.2% Clearance Rate

Overall 160 out of 168 lots sold for gross receipts of $746,100 & a clearance rate of 95.2% at the Inglis December Thoroughbred Sale. The average was $4,663 & the median was $2,250. Inglis Director Peter Heagney commented: "This sale really defied predictions & showed no indication of the recession we have been fearing at this level. There was good competition for most horses & one of the really pleasing aspects of today's sale was the number of new people attending the sale, which was very encouraging."
