Thursday, 15th January 2009
Jockey Jason Holder was in a "serious but stable condition" in Royal Brisbane Hospital last night after suffering head injuries after his mount Oscar The Great fell during a race at Eagle Farm yesterday. Holder previously won the Adelaide jockeys' premiership 5 times & last weekend won the $2 million Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast on Phelan Ready.
