US Gr1-Winning Sire Sligo Bay Moves To Canada

In Canada, US Gr1-winning stallion Sligo Bay (Sadler's Wells-Angelic Song, by Halo) "will be relocated to Gardiner Farms in Ontario," reported bloodhorse.com. Sligo Bay formerly stood at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs South in Florida (Stronach also owns Adena Springs North in Ontario) & Adena Springs president Andy Stronach commented: "This partnership between the top 2 breeders in Canada puts Adena Springs back into the Ontario market & demonstrates our strong commitment to Ontario racing & breeding. Sligo Bay's proven ability to sire polytrack & grass horses will be of great benefit to us & a huge asset for other Canadian breeders." Sligo Bay has sired 35 winners (6 stakes horses) & the earners of US$1.4 million last year. He will stand for C$5,000.
