5 Aust-Bred Winners In Macau

In Macau, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 7YO gelding Oriental Milan (King Of Kings-Nawadder, by Marscay) won over 1200m for trainer W.T.Lai. Oriental Milan was a $37,500 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Sires Produce Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Splendid Year (Belong To Me-Celebrity Status, by Centaine) won over 1500m for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf. Splendid Year was passed-in for $30,000 as a yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO entire Elegance Classic (General Nediym-Amourous, by Covetous) won over 1200m for trainer V.Chong. Elegance Classic was a $125,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $170,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 7YO gelding Luenyat Wonderland (Nothin Leica Dane-Macleay Bisc, by Biscay) won over 1500m for trainer P.C.Choi. Luenyat Wonderland was a $22,000 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Scone Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Hostwin (Catbird-Peignoir, by Tights) won over 1000m for trainer Y.K.Lau. Hostwin was a $65,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
