2 Aust-Bred Winners In New Zealand

On the track in New Zealand yesterday, 2 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Avondale:
- 3YO gelding Caballo (Hussonet-Our Geisha Girl, by Fuji Kiseki) won over 1400m for trainers Roger James & Paul Mirabelli. Caballo was a NZ$90,000 yearling at the 2007 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
- 3YO gelding Barclay Blues (Lonhro-Satinet, by Barathea) won over 1200m for trainer Stephen McKee. Barclay Blues was a $110,000 weanling at the 2006 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently passed-in for NZ$135,00 as a yearling at the 2007 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
