5 Aust-Bred Winners In Singapore

In Singapore, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Kranji (click on the horse name to watch each race):

  • 3YO Unpickable (Delago Brom-Quit Smokin, by Never Quit) won over 1200m for trainer Australian Steven Burridge. Unpickable was a $22,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Tasmanian Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Speaknoevil (Medal Of Honor-Starlight Melody, by Poliuto) won over 1400m for trainer Brian Dean.
  • 5YO gelding Lim's Glory (Gilded Time-Elyria, by Geiger Counter) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Meagher. Lim's Glory was a $12,000 weanling at the 2004 Magic Millions Winter Sale, then passed-in for $28,000 as a yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Summer Sale & subsequently was a $50,000 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Bionic Boy (Falvelon-Pekan Lady, by Sri Pekan) won over 1200m for Australian trainer Steven Burridge. Bionic Boy was a $20,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $35,000 2YO at the 2007 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Cigar Royale (Beautiful Crown-Royal Magenta, b y Royal Academy) won over 1200m for trainer Desmond Koh. Cigar Royale was a $46,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
