Belong To Me Adds US Black-Type

Former Widden Stud shuttler Belong To Me (Danzig-Belonging, by Exclusive Native) added a US black-type success when his colt Tamborim (Belong To Me-Miu Miu, by Kris S) scored a 0.75-length victory in the US$85,000 Listed Sophomore Turf Stakes (8.5 furlongs on turf) for 3YOs at Tampa Bay Downs in Florida. Tamborim (ridden by Daniel Centeno for trainer William Mott) defeated fellow colts Duke Of Mischief (Graeme Hall-My Lady Amelia, by Real Courage) & Cheeks Malone (Spanish Steps-Far And Above, by Abstract). Tamborim took his overall record to 3 wins (also including 2008's Listed Arthur Appleton Juvenile Turf Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Calder) & a placing from 7 starts for US$138,976 earnings.
