Monday, 6th April 2009

In France overnight, former Coolmore shuttler Peintre Celebre (Nureyev-Peinture Bleue, by Alydar) added a group success when 4YO entire Trincot (Peintre Celebre-Royal Lights, by Royal Academy) scored a 3-lengths victory in the €130,000 (A$247,000) Gr2 Prix D'Harcourt (2000m) for 4YOs & up at Longchamp in Paris. Last year Trincot won both France's Gr2 Prix Dollar (1950m) against older rivals at Longchamp & Gr3 Prix De Guiche (1800m) at Chantilly, as well as finishing 3rd in the Gr3 Prix Du Prince D'Orange (2000m) at Longchamp.
