Aust-Bred SAf Gr1-Winner Le Drakkar Sold
Also in South Africa, bloodstock agent Robin Bruss confirmed the sale of Australian-bred Gr1-winning 4YO entire Le Drakkar (Anabaa-My Mo Rally, by Mi Preferido) to the Middle East connections (where his brother Neil Bruss is a trainer). Le Drakkar (a $155,000 yearling consigned from Widden Stud at the 2007 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne) boasts 3 wins (including last December's Gr1 Cape Guineas over 1600m at Kenilworth & November's Gr2 Selangor Cup over 1600m at Kenilworth) & 3 placings (including January's Gr1 Cape Derby over 2000m at Kenilworth & 2008's Gr3 Cape Classic over 1400m at Kenilworth) from 6 starts.
