Inglis Autumn Sale Attracts 373 Yearlings

The 2009 Inglis Autumn Sale in Melbourne has attracted a catalogue of 373 yearlings. The sale is set to be sold on April 26-27 at Oaklands. Acknowledged as one of the bargain sales on the Australian calendar, Inglis Autumn graduates to have sold for under $20,000 include Gr1 winners Pompeii Ruler, Grand Journey & Lazer Sharp. Among the proven sires represented by progeny are Bel Esprit, General Nediym, Hussonet, Rock Of Gibraltar, Secret Savings, Street Cry, Tale Of The Cat, Testa Rossa and the promising young sires Charge Forward, Elvstroem, Reset and Shamardal. Freshman yearling sires represented include Al Samer, Barely A Moment, Benicio, Domesday, God's Own, Jet Spur, Keep The Faith, Rakti, Snippetson, Snitzel, Starcraft and Stratum. Inglis Autumn Sale graduates are eligible for the $2.5 million Inglis Race Series, in addition to the $100,000 Autumn Plate, which is restricted to graduates of this sale.
