UK Tatts 2YOs Day-2: $158,000 Average
On Day-2 of the UK Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale, 53 lots sold for 3,824,000 guineas (A$8,412,200), at an average of 72,151 guineas (A$158,732) and a median of 70,000 guineas (A$154,000). Trade over the two days saw 115 lots sold for 8,561,000 guineas (A$18,834,200), at an average of 74,443 guineas (A$163,774) and a median of 60,000 guineas (A$132,000). The average and median dropped 27% and 14% respectively, however those figures were second only to last year's record breaking statistics. In addition, a further 20 private sales were completed totalling 752,500 guineas (A$1,596,100), bringing the overall clearance rate for the sale to over 80%.
