Meanwhile, Widden Stud stallion King Cugat (Kingmambo-Tricky Game, by Majestic Light) added an NZ group success when 4YO gelding Hold It Harvey (King Cugat-Daly Charm, by Best Western) scored by 3-lengths in the NZ$70,000 Gr3 Christchurch Casino Easter Cup Stakes (1600m) at Riccarton Park in Canterbury. Hold It Harvey (ridden by Jamie Bullard for trainer Terri Rae) defeated older rivals 5YO gelding Don't Say Clang (Clang-Caramel Twist, by Mr Jazz) and 5YO mare Sila Jasak (Cullen-Grand Archway, by Archway). Hold It Harvey (a $16,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Winter Sale) now has 7 wins & 12 placings (including January's Listed Timaru Stakes over 1400m at Riccarton Park, plus 2007's Listed Canterbury Stakes over 1600m at Riccarton Park & Listed Coupland Stakes over 1400m at Ashburton) from 28 starts for NZ$230,900 earnings.
