Ill-fated Oaklands Stud stallion Lion Hunter (Danehill-Pure Of Heart, by Godswalk) added a black-type success when 8YO gelding Rampant Lion (Lion Hunter-La Gypsy, by Celestial Dancer) scored in the shadows of the post, landing the $75,000 Listed Dr John Power Handicap (1200m) at Eagle Farm. Rampant Lion (ridden by Shane Scriven for trainer Lindsay Gough) defeated favoured 4YO entire Simplest (Choisir-Mad Desire, by Covetous) & 5YO gelding Nuclear Medicine (Nuclear Freeze-Gentle Air, by Fossicker).
